Planned PEThood of Georgia is excited to announce that Dr. Jennifer Morris has joined our team as a full-time veterinarian! Many in our community may already know Dr. Morris from her years serving as a relief veterinarian with Planned PEThood, and we’re thrilled to now have her as a permanent member of our staff.

Dr. Morris brings extensive experience in shelter medicine and animal welfare. She spent nearly a decade with the Atlanta Humane Society, serving in leadership roles including Director of Animal Health and Director of Shelter Medicine. She has also served as Chief Veterinarian at the Humane Society of South Mississippi and shared her expertise as a Visiting Instructor in Shelter Medicine at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine.

With a DVM from Mississippi State University, Dr. Morris combines deep clinical knowledge with a compassionate approach to animal care. Her experience and dedication will strengthen Planned PEThood’s mission- helping pets and their families by providing innovative programs and affordable services that save lives.

We’re proud to welcome Dr. Morris to our team and look forward to the positive impact she will have on the lives of pets and families in our community.
