Sadly, Pit Bull type dogs are the #1 most euthanized dogs in GA shelters due to overbreeding and low adoption rates. However, help is now available!

Thanks to a generous gift from an anonymous donor, the Pit Bull Assistance Fund has been created to help keep pit bulls and pit mixes in their homes and prevent them from entering shelters. Veterinary care such as vaccines, antibiotics and/or spay and neuter services are available to select candidates at little or no charge.

If you answer yes to the following, we may be able to help you with your pit bull or pit bull mix dog’s veterinary care:

  • Yes, I have a pit bull or pit bull-type dog
  • Yes, I want to keep the dog
  • Yes, I can travel to Duluth, GA for a veterinary appointment
  • Yes, I need help affording food and medical care for the dog

If you answered yes to most of these statements please submit a help request form below. It may take up to 5 days for a response, please be patient as we work through these requests.
