Sweet 16: Paws, Purpose & Progress
This September, we’re celebrating our Sweet 16!
Since 2010, Planned PEThood has grown from a low-cost spay/neuter clinic into a comprehensive, community-based nonprofit organization providing affordable veterinary care, spay/neuter, rescue and adoption, TNVR, mobile services, and community outreach across Georgia.
In 2025, we helped more than 12,400 cats and dogs and are on pace to help nearly 20,000 in 2026.
Sixteen years of helping so many sweet souls. We couldn’t do this without you- our donors, sponsors and supporters. We are so grateful! 🐾💗

Kitten Yoga = Community Impact 🐱🧘♀️
On August 8, Planned PEThood and Crunch Fitness Duluth brought our communities together for our first-ever Kitten Yoga event, and it was a huge success!
More than 40 people participated, the class filled to capacity, and two cats found their forever homes! Even better, the event generated more than $1,000 in donations to support pets and families in our community. The event also introduced new people to Planned PEThood and our lifesaving work in a fun and memorable way.
A huge thank you to Crunch Duluth, our volunteers, everyone who donated, and our fabulous feline yoga instructors: Ayla, Orla, Oliver, Mulch, Bramble, Trowel, Mooney, Twilight, Dawn and Eclipse! 🐱
🏆 We’d LOVE your vote for Best of Gwinnett 2026! 🐾
We were incredibly grateful to be named a Best of Gwinnett winner last year and we’d love to share that honor with our community again this year!
For 2026, Planned PEThood of Georgia is listed in the Pets → Veterinary Practices category. If you believe in the work we’re doing to make veterinary care more accessible and keep pets out of shelters, please take a moment to nominate us!
