Faith Pescatore has supported Planned PEThood both financially and through volunteering since 2020. A Gwinnett County resident and animal welfare advocate, Faith is committed to organizations that address the root causes of issues like animal overpopulation.

Earlier this year, Faith brought a community cat to Planned PEThood for TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return) services. After helping the cat recover, Faith decided the feline would make a better pet than a return-to-field candidate—so the “R” never happened. The cat, now named Bootsie, has remained in Faith’s loving home ever since.

Faith’s support has only grown from there. In August 2026, she donated $7,000 to help fund the majority of our Northeast Georgia Free Vaccine Clinic. After reading Planned PEThood’s 2026 Mid-Year Impact Report, Faith was inspired to increase her support further. This month, on September 14, she donated $40,000 to fund Planned PEThood’s life-saving programs—our largest individual donation of 2026.

Support from donors like Faith is what allows Planned PEThood to provide low-cost and free veterinary services for cats and dogs, including community cats, shelter animals, and pets belonging to individuals and families. We intentionally set our prices below cost and rely on donations from individuals, businesses, and grants to cover the difference.

Planned PEThood is deeply grateful for Faith’s continued generosity and dedication to our nonprofit mission.
