🎉 Help Us Welcome Our Newest Board Member, Victor Gaines! 🎉
News
As we celebrate 15 years of lifesaving work at Planned PEThood, we’re thrilled to introduce a new member of our Board of Directors, Victor Gaines.
Victor brings years of global leadership experience in Human Resources and Recruiting. He has worked across healthcare, telecommunications, and consumer goods. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky, he now lives in Atlanta with his partner and their high-energy Boston Terrier, Buster.
Victor is no stranger to service. He has served as an HOA President and as a member of the Clayton State University Board of Trustees. His passion for animals, combined with his personal experience as a rescue dog parent, made Planned PEThood’s mission hit home.
Here’s how Victor describes what drew him to Planned PEThood: “As a repeat rescue dog parent – including one from a home challenged with the cost of his care – I was drawn to Planned PEThood of Georgia’s mission. I hope to add value to the organization through supporting a results-driven organizational structure, facilitating strategic planning, and helping to operationalize the Board’s vision.”
Victor has seen firsthand how difficult it can be for families to access affordable veterinary care. That’s why the programs that resonate most with him are our affordable wellness services, low-cost spay and neuter, and outreach efforts like free vaccine clinics.
We are excited to have Victor’s expertise, heart, and energy on our Board as we continue working to ensure that rescue starts before the shelter.
Please help us welcome Victor to the Planned PEThood family!
