Fifteen Years of Paw-sitive Impact

In 2025, Planned PEThood proudly celebrates its 15th anniversary!

• Our journey began in 2010 with a mission focused on spay and neuter services. By 2012, we had already completed 10,000 surgeries.
• In 2014, we expanded our reach by merging with the Companion Animal Rescue League (CARL), adding rescue, foster, and adoption services to our growing programs.
• By 2018, we were not only serving pet owners directly, we were also providing veterinary care to county shelters and rescues across Georgia.
• In 2021, we held our first outreach event to provide free care and supplies to under-resourced communities.
• In 2024, Planned PEThood received the $150,000 Accelerator Grant from PetSmart Charities. 
• CJ Bentley took the reins as CEO in 2023, helping guide our mission into the future. Now, we’re on track to celebrate a major milestone towards the end of 2025; our 100,00th spay and neuter surgery!
