Join us on Saturday, May 14th for an afternoon filled with kittens! Guests will spend time with kittens, enjoy snacks, and learn about how our programs support mommy cats and kittens.

Starting in spring, peaking in the summer, and ending in fall, shelters across the country will experience an influx of kittens and expecting moms. Foster homes are critical to ensuring as many lives are saved as possible during this difficult time of year. This is a great event to meet our support team and learn about becoming a foster home if you are interested.

Guests will enjoy food and refreshments including chicken biscuits from Maple Street Biscuit company, make kitty crafts, win door prizes, experience bottle feeding demonstrations, and snuggle with kittens. Instagram photo op!

Just like a traditional baby shower, guests are encouraged to bring gifts and donations to help the rescue prepare for kitten season. You can order or get ideas from Planned PEThood’s Amazon kitten registry.

Most needed items include: kitten milk replacer powder formula, paper towels, unscented baby wipes, scoopable litter and litter boxes, pet heating pads, laundry detergent, dish soap, purina one kitten dry food, and fancy feast kitten turkey wet food. See full wish list here for ideas.

This event will take place at our clinic, 2860 Buford Hwy. Duluth, GA 30096 (back building E).  Advance tickets are $15 each. Proceeds will be used to purchase critical kitten supplies.  Tickets will be available at the door for $17/person.

Can’t attend? Visit the Amazon kitten registry now and send a donation to the incoming babies.

P.S. Make sure to wrap your gifts for the kittens. The most creatively decorated gifts will win special prizes.
