Planned PEThood of Georgia, together with State Representative Marvin Lim, recently wrapped up a wonderful day of community outreach in Unincorporated Norcross (ZIP code 30093). On November 15, 2025, our teams gathered at 5320 Jimmy Carter Blvd for a free pet vaccine clinic and the turnout was even larger than expected!

Families arrived early, eager to ensure their pets received essential care. What began as a clinic designed for 80 pets grew to serve just over 100 dogs and cats, thanks to the dedication of our staff, veterinary professionals, and volunteers. We’re incredibly grateful for the generous support of our sponsors: State Representative Marvin Lim , Petco Love , Boehringer Ingelheim , and Fix Georgia Pets .

These free clinics bring veterinary care directly into neighborhoods, making it easier for pet owners to access exams, vaccines, flea prevention, and other supplies. It’s one of the many ways we strive to keep pets healthy and families supported.

We were also thrilled to provide 41 pet owners with vouchers for free spay or neuter surgeries at our Duluth clinic- an important step in preventing pet overpopulation and improving long-term pet health.

“We are proud to partner with Representative Marvin Lim to make essential veterinary care accessible to more families in our community,” said CJ Bentley, CEO for Planned PEThood of Georgia. “Events like this help keep pets healthy, safe, and at home with the people who love them.”
