On August 21, 2025 more than 50 amazing supporters, volunteers, and team members gathered at our Duluth clinic to celebrate our 15 year anniversary in person.

The joyful event featured a special ribbon-cutting ceremony to honor our journey since opening our doors in 2010. Our CEO, CJ Bentley, shared highlights of how far we’ve come. And, one of the most memorable moments came when Duluth Mayor Greg Whitlock took the podium to officially proclaim August 21 as Planned PEThood Day. His recognition of our impact in Gwinnett County and beyond was heartwarming!

Guests enjoyed a tour of our medical clinic and administration building, and learned about the many programs that make Planned PEThood unique including affordable veterinary care, free vaccine clinics, kitten care, foster and adoption, and so much more!

And of course, no celebration is complete without good food! Thanks to the generosity of Trader Joe’s, Jamie’s Cookie Dough, and Boehringer Ingelheim everyone enjoyed delicious treats and festive touches that made the day extra special.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Whether you’ve adopted, donated, volunteered, or shared our mission with friends—you’ve helped make Planned PEThood Day a reality.
