They are negative for FIV/FeLV, up-to-date on shots, fixed, and microchipped. The adoption fee is $150 for both kittens.

Will you help Harlow and Fiesta find their forever home?

It's that time of year: The previous kitten season is over--but the next one is looming. And we have adult cats and "teenagers" (6- to 12-month olds) who got overlooked when there were dozens of adorable kittens and are still searching for their forever homes.

If you're thinking of adopting a kitty, please please please consider an older kitten or adult cat. Yes, kittens are adorable, but their kittenhood is over in the blink of an eye. Older kittens and adults are every bit as beautiful, loving, and entertaining with the bonus of being a bit calmer and boasting a fully formed personality.

Away from home much of the day at work or school? An adult cat--or two!--won't mind amusing herself with toys or napping the day away.

Got a curious young child? While every cat/kitten is different, adult cats are typically more tolerant--and better able to run out of reach when necessary.

Hoping for a lap cat? With an adult, you know what you're getting. An adult lap cat will be a lap cat for the rest of its life.

We've spotlighted just a few of the dozens of older kittens and adults still waiting to go to their forever home. We've got more on our Petfinder pages: pethoodga.org/adoptable-cats/. Click on each cat's photo to see its profile and how to get in touch with the foster family to learn more.

You can also meet a few of our teenagers and adults at our adoption centers:
Johns Creek Petsmart at 3630 Peachtree Parkway
Lawrenceville PetSmart at 875 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd.
Petco Milton at 13089 Highway 9
